Server log data

When you visit this website, the hosting provider may process technically necessary information such as your IP address, the time of access, the page requested, browser and operating system. This is done to provide the website securely, reliably and without errors.

Contact by email

If you contact us by email, the information you provide will be used to respond to your enquiry. It will be deleted when the enquiry has been completed, unless a legal retention obligation applies.

Enquiry forms

FormSubmit is used for retreat and trial-pass enquiries. When you send a form, the information entered is transferred to FormSubmit so that it can be delivered by email to info@pankajsharmayoga.com. According to FormSubmit, submitted form data may be retained for up to 30 days. Please use a form only if you agree to this transfer. You may contact us directly by email instead.

Photographs and video recordings

Photographs and videos may be made in the studio and during workshops, retreats and intensives to document and publicly present our yoga work. They may be published on this website, in printed information and promotional materials, and on publicly accessible social-media channels.

We use identifiable images of individual participants only after they have given their voluntary consent. Participation in a class or event does not depend on giving this consent. Anyone who does not wish to be photographed or filmed may tell us before or during the recording.

The legal basis is Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent may be withdrawn at any time for future use by emailing info@pankajsharmayoga.com. This does not affect the lawfulness of use before withdrawal. Following withdrawal, we will not make new use of the relevant material and will remove it from digital publications under our control. Printed material already distributed cannot be recalled. Recordings will be deleted when consent is withdrawn or the purpose of publication no longer applies, unless a legal reason requires further storage.

Health and personal responsibility

Participation in yoga classes, workshops, retreats and intensives is at each participant's own responsibility. Participants decide whether an exercise is suitable for their current physical condition and practise only within their personal abilities. An exercise should be stopped immediately if it causes pain, dizziness or other discomfort.

Existing injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or other health limitations must be disclosed to the teacher before practice begins. Anyone who is uncertain should seek medical advice before taking part. Yoga instruction is not a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment or therapy.

The studio is not liable for harm arising solely because a participant did not disclose a health limitation, practised contrary to instructions or disregarded their personal limits. Mandatory statutory liability remains unaffected, particularly in cases involving injury to life, body or health, intentional conduct or gross negligence.

Google is responsible for its subsequent processing. Further information is available in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
